Magnus MegaGrip Flexible Tripod
Key Features
  • Flexible Legs Grip Trees, Pipes, etc.
  • Supports up to 3.3 lb
  • Compatible With Pocket Video Cameras
  • Ideal for Point-and-Shoot Cameras
You'll never miss a photo for lack of a tripod when you have the MegaGrip Flexible Tripod from Magnus. It weighs only 11.8 oz--you can carry it with you 24/7. It has flexible legs that can be bent 360° to wrap around a fence, a tree branch, a chair leg or anything else stable enough to hold a small camera and small enough to wrap the legs around. It has an 8.5" maximum height and will support a typical light-weight DSLR, point-and-shoot camera, or pocket video camera, weighing up to 3.3 lb.

The flexible leg's rubber feet give you a stable support when using the tripod traditionally, with all three feet on a flat surface. It has a standard 1/4"-20 mounting screw. Using the included Allen key, individual segments of the legs can be removed for cleaning or to change the height of the tripod.

question

Will this support a Canon 7D with a 28-135 kit lens?
Asked by: Anonymous
I bought it mainly for use with a Panasonic FZ-200, but I also used it with a Sony Alpha-77 with it's heavy 16-50 lens. For the heavy camera and lens, if you make sure to tighten the 3 screws on the underside with the allen wrench supplied, then it supports it as a tripod. I haven't used it wrapping it around something.

question

I have a Magnus Taj-200 mini tripod that I purchased from you about 1 year ago. I noticed that I lost one of the rubber feet in my travels. How do I go about replacing it?

Unfortunately we do not carry the part you are in need of. You would need to contact Magnus directly for a replacement. They are a division of a company called the Gradus Group. The tripod has 2 different size HEX head screws, yet you are only supplied with one Allen wrench. Why?
Asked by: Lynn
The included Hex / Allen wrench is to be used to remove leg segments and adjust rigidity of the tripod. This is for the screw that is under the rubber ring on the leg segments.

question

My son has the Kodak PIXPRO SP360 Action Camera with Extreme Pack will this tripod work with this, or do I need to have the mini ball kit too? Thanks.
Asked by: William P.
This tripod has a normal camera attachment, 1/4 -20. Same exact size as the SP360 has. This fits every camera with a normal 1/4 mount system.
