I've got a Marlin 80 and it has two groups of holes - one for the front and the other for the rear mounts. The distance between holes for the rear mount is different to the distance between holes at the front. Will this product fit both front and rear parts?
You'll need to take the Marlin 80 to a gunsmith for tapping if you use a top mounted scope (and then the #12 is what's listed on the chart). The rear holes you mention were for an optional factory installed rear peep sight. Alternatively, you can use the side mounted base (Weaver #2), reportedly without needing to visit the gunsmith, though I can't confirm that.
