I bought this as an experiment and to try to get some value out of some old lenses I was given and that don't mount to my old SLR. I don't find the close-up effect that easy to control, not as easy to use as a set of close-up filters. It works best with a 28mm lens, and doesn't seem to work at all with a zoom lens. Nevertheless, this is a style of photography that I rarely do, so I don't think I'll get much use out of this adapter. I'll give it some more time while I experiment more.
