SLIK Mini Pro DQ 2-Section Table-Top Tripod
Key Features
  • Removable Ball Head
  • Quick-Release Plate
  • 8.9" Maximum Height
  • Twist Locks for Legs
The Slik Mini Pro DQ 2-Section Aluminum Table-Top Tripod is a compact, versatile miniature tripod that finds a natural home on any table top. Built like a shrunken-down professional tripod – with twist-lock leg stage extensions and a rapid center column – the Mini Pro DQ includes a ball head and a quick-release plate.

Single-knob operation frees the head's ball so you can position your DSLR, point & shoot, or compact camcorder at almost any angle. The head features a slot that enables you to tilt the camera 90° for portrait orientation. Or you can use that tilt to point the camera forward as you brace the tiny tripod horizontally against your chest, for supported handheld operation that will result in steadier shots.

With a twist of the butterfly knob above the Mini Pro DQ's chassis, the tripod's center column extends 1.75". Extending this and the tripod's leg stages (via the twist locks) will achieve a maximum height of 8.9", a perfect vantage point for table-top or low-angle photography.

The head does come off on that tripod. It is a thread so if you do put a different head on it, you might need a tripod bushing.General Brand Tripod Reducer Bushing 3/8 to 1/4 -20B&H # GBRB Mfr # NPTRBhttp://bhpho.to/1avkNxl

question

I have a Nikon D750 along with the following lenses - Nikon 24-120mm F4, Nikon 70-300mm F4.5/5.6, Nikon 85mm F1.8G, Nikon 50mm 1.8G, and a Nikon 20mm F1.8. I'm sure they'll be no issues with the primes. Any issues using this tripod with either of the zoom lenses?

You may have problems with the zooms, as the Mini Pro III is only rated to hold up to 2.75 lbs.

Check the specs; but I easily use a 35mm on it with no problems on my table top. It would even work for my medium format.
