This 10x High Definition II Professional Macro Conversion Lens from Opteka mounts to the front of lenses featuring a 62mm filter ring diameter, and offers a 10x magnification to produce a narrower field of view with closer focusing capabilities. Designed for macro-like shooting with nearly any lens, this add-on lens features a four element construction made from high refractive index, low dispersion water white optical glass for maintained image quality. A hard anti-reflective coating has also been applied to the glass elements to reduce lens flare and ghosting for greater contrast and a clarity.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Opteka 62mm 10x High Defenition II Pro Macro Lense I bought this basically as an experiment to see how it would work on my Nikon 200mm Micro. The lense will probably sit in the back of my photography cabinet & never get used again. Lens flare was huge. The finish was lackluster with the paint sprayed onto the item with a masking circle placed onto the front of the lens that wasn't big enough producing a ring of paint around the front of the lens that breaks off & leaves black spots on the front of the lens that are very difficult to remove. The outer edge of the inside lens has not even been blacked out - maybe the cause of the lens flare?... It's a really cheap lens for sure - you get what you pay for.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from A toy, not for photographers I didn't expect to turn my Tamron 18-270 into a Nikkor Macro with this adapter but the results were totally unsatisfactory. Major vignetting and barrel distortion at all zoom levels and apertures. Useless.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Value If you can't afford a Macro Lens this is the next best thing. I've just started using mine and I love it. Images are clear and crisp. Not quite as flexible as a macro lens but for the price it's great..

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Acceptable to an extent Only issue is that you really need to get close to the point it is in focus cause if you zoom in and focus, you start to loss depth of field. The center of the object is in focus while everything around is out of focus. I use it to do 16mm movie film to digital transfer and record directly into the projector film gate which is very a small window opening to focus into.
