Voice Technologies VT500 Reviews

Great mic, poor customer care

Love the VT-500 mics but there are modifications that B&H is not aware of apperently. If you are ordering several of them, you really want them to match sonically. There is a mod simply labeled “high” that is a bump in top end EQ… better for voice. I was sent a mix of these mics after I specified all one type. Didn’t care which type. Just all the same. I educated the sales guy, but he still didn’t understand apperently. There is also no interest from the staff at straightening out my order. I will be returning all of my purchase.

A great little mic

I just want to say this is an awesome little mic. I've owned one for years and I've always enjoyed its sound, and frequency response. Especially convenient is the alligator clip which aids in concealment on most bras. Push up bras still present a challenge. I felt compelled to offer my review as another customer had written something negative. It has to be that operator error was at issue in his case. Anyway, a big thumbs up from a professional sound mixer.

question

I bought this mic for use with me Sony URXP03 wireless transmitter and it isn't working. Did I get the right one?
Asked by: Robert
No this one wont work with the Sony ones its unfortunate because the plug is exactly the same. I made the same mistake the first time around. You need the one that is for Sony, not the one for Senheiser. They are not swappable. You should be able to send it back easily. BH was good with me about that.
