PopGard Microphone Windscreen is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 25.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Used it on Blue Yeti Mic Used it on the Blue Yeti Mic and it works great. There are two elastic bands and two plastic grips with rubber padding on them to go around the mic.For the Blue Yeti only the bottom elastic band will go around the bottom part of the mic, with the top elastic band sitting on the top center of the mic and the grip hanging away as the top of the mic rounds it self off. The pop guard area will perfectly cover the whole mic area.Even only with the grip the elastic band is tight that the pop guard will not be in a weird position and is stable to sit on the Yeti. You'd probably don't want to move your mic around in the first place anyway, but even with movement the pop guard will not flail around to create any unwanted sounds or fall off.Great product to go with the Blue Yeti.B&H's free shipping though feels kind of slow, so just a heads up on that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy install and works great! Ive used other pop filters and none of them worked well with a mic on a desk arm. If you moved your mic the position of the filter changed. Also, most filters are designed to attach to a round mic stand or the like. Forget about attaching them to a the desk arm. WindTech came up with a simple solution. Their guard attaches to the mic itself...done. It also works fine as a pop filter.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from using with AKG 414 > works well Bought specifically for use with an AKG 414. The foam thingy that comes with a 414 takes away too much high frequencies and the usual pop guards that one mounts on the stand work, but I didn't like their size, especially for live use.I was unsure how well the WindTech PopGard would work with an (asymmetrical bodied) 414, but it mounts easily and works well. Could still be smaller for the 414 but that would just be too much too ask as it's supposed to fit a number of microphones. The two rubber bands (one extra is included as back-up) hold the guard nicely in place. Solid! To make sure, the PopGard still wants you to keep a distance of 1 or 2 inches from the microphone - but then condenser microphones of this class are not made for 'eating'. I do use the 414 for live vocals where I have to be rather close to fend off feedback issues - it does its job well and does not totally obstruct my face. Mission accomplished.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Used it on Blue Yeti Mic Using this on the Blue Yeti Mic and it fits great. There are two elastic bands that grab the mic, and two placstic grips with rubber padding where it grips the mic.For the Yeti natrually only the one bottom grip and eastic band will fit just at the bottom of the mic part (above the body), and the top elastic band just sits on top center of the mic with the grip hanging away as the top of the mic rounds it self up, which is the perfect position for the pop guard area to cover the whole mic part. The bottom elastic band is tight enough that the pop guard will not move around. If you move your Yeti to the point the pop guard will fall off you probably don't want to move your mic that violently in the first place anyway.Bottom line, the grip will be sturdy and perfect with just one band on.B&H's free shipping though takes a while longer compared to other online shops w/ free shipping I feel, just a few days longer so just a heads up.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice item, does job pretty well I like this item for its compact styling. It's a lot easier to use than the average mesh pop filter. Everyone is different. For me, I must have unusually high plosives. I usually use two of the mesh filters back-to-back to tame pops. By itself, I thought this one didn't quite get the job done. I ended up using a mesh pop filter backed by this screen mounted on the mic. That worked well for me. I noticed no more coloration than an extra mesh filter. Highs were clear and sparkling with no apparent roll-off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from small package, big results I bought this to replace a 'gooseneck' windscreen by WindTech. I changed my mic mount and had nowhere to mount the gooseneck. This is so small and light, yet does a great job. I'm using it on an MX2001 mic and couldn't be more satisfied.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredible Item! I am on the road a lot and have a lot of gears moving along with me. I was thinking about buying a regular pop filter when I found this one. It is incredible, it does the job better than a regular big and awkward pop filter that you end up having to adjust all the time. This one is extremely easy to put on any kind of condenser mic, extremely efficient and even if it doesn't really matter, it looks pretty good. I am really happy with this purchase. Great product for a great price!
