The Weaver Detachable Side Mount #1 (Black), BH # WEWSMB1, is especially designed to provide a mounting point for older firearms that do not accept top-mounting bases. Although we cannot test the fit with the Remington model 24, .22 long rifle, the manufacturer believes it can be mounted.
