Helping to prevent zoom creep, the dark blue Lens Band from LENSband is a simple silicone rubber band specifically designed to stop unwanted lens movement from occurring. Sized to fit most DSLR zoom lenses, this band will stretch over zoom rings ranging in diameter from 67 to 110mm in order to prevent the lens from moving under its own weight when angled upward or downward. When not in use, the band can be stored over your lens and can also be used to provide increased grip for removing jammed or stuck filters on the front of your lens.

This band is designed to fit most DSLR lenses with zoom rings ranging in diameter from 67 to 110mm.
Made from silicone rubber, the band offers a secure, snug fit on the lens to prevent unwanted zoom creep.

These are terrific for those of us with arthritis. They make turning the rings for focus, zoom, whatever soooo much easier. Pick your color. You can even install 2-3 rings on long lenses. I have!

I bought this for my Sigma 24-70 Art II lens which had lens creep when I used high angle shots and looked down 90 degrees and it worked great. Not at all clunky, just there like a decoration for your lens. If you have lens slippage would definitely recommend.

How do I measure the size of my focus ring ? I own a Nikon 35mm 1/1.4, Nikon 24-120 and a Nikon 200-500 5.6 ?
You would go by the diameter of your lens. This particular Lens Band fits lenses with a diameter from 2.6-4.3".

can this also be used to stop the will this stop the focus ring from moving? or does it only work in controlling the zoom ring?
I think as long as the diameter is right and you position it right it could reduce movement in the focus ring.

question
What size do I need for a Nikon 24-70 mm f/2.8 lens? Also, can this be used in place of the orange band that comes with the Aquatech Sound Blimp (you place it on the zoom band to give it friction so you can zoom with the blimp's lens tube)? I bought a used blimp that didn't have the orange band and it's impossible to zoom without it.
I have a 72mm lens filter and the red band fits well on my 18-200 lens.
