The Hitech 165 x 165mm 82B Filter is a color conversion filter that helps to slightly increase color temperatures and provide a cooling effect. The 82B filter removes the yellow and red light cast that commonly occurs in the morning and evening hours. It provides an increase of about 300K, helping to subdue the light casts when photographing with 100W or less tungsten illumination.
There is a 1.5x filter factor with this filter, requiring an increase of 0.6 stop for normal exposure. It measures 6.5 x 6.5" / 165 x 165mm and is constructed out of CR-39 dyed resin. The filter is compatible with the Hitech 165mm filter holder.
