We have two of these wonderful mics. We use them to amplify our choir.

How tight an angle can the gooseneck hold. Many pics show about 45 degrees. Will it hold 90 degrees? 135?
Asked by: Jim
You should be able to adjust the gooseneck to hold at any angle. The clutch assembly for the Audix MB5050 MicroBoom System 50" Gooseneck Condenser Microphone allows for total control over the angle, rotation and position of the carbon fiber rod.

What is the difference between this M1250B microphone and the M1255B microphone?
Asked by: Alan
The M1250B has a standard pencil condenser sensitivity (similar to AKG C450 for example) and is fine for miking a choir at standard distance. (recommended 2' from front row, head-height to back row) The M1255B is 12dB more sensitive which is significant. (at equal gain the M1255B will be more than twice as loud) we recommend this for distance miking or pro-sound crews with no speaker position challenges)

question

Does the Audix MB5050 have an off/on switch? The only way I have been able to make it a non open mic is to unplug at input.
Asked by: Anonymous
No it does not. I wish it did. However, something like this will be slightly better than unplugging at the source: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/907774-REG/neutrik_nc3fxs_b_fxs_3_pole_female.html
