The 6.5 x 8" Soft-Edge Reverse ND Graduated Filter Kit from Formatt Hitech contains three filters that are the way to go when you want to shoot a bright horizon line but want to maintain accurate exposure control between the horizon and foreground. This is an ideal filter for the nature or landscape shooter, as it can help save what might ordinarily be an impossible shot to capture on film or digital. Traditional graduated neutral density filters transition from dark to light towards the bottom of the filter.
