I have the Sony Handycam and I needed a new battery. I went to a local battery store and the one they sold me didn't work in my camera. I read review from other sites that sell the battery and people were saying that when they received it , it would not work in the camera. I ordered two of these batteries and they work in my camera !! I was so pleased. I was able to take movies of my recent trip to Flight 93 Memorial. Thank you for having a great product. If anyone has this Sony Handycam movie camera- please know that this battery will work !!

How many hours does the battery last for until need for charging?

The duration that the Watson NP-FP50 Lithium-Ion Battery Pack (7.4V, 650mAh) will be able to power a device is dependent upon the power draw of the device it is powering, as well as how the powered device is being used, so it is not possible to answer your question as is.

Most non-Sony batteries I tried in my DCR-DVD92 do not work as they are not Sony brand. Will this battery work?

I had the same problem with another non Sony battery that I bought, but this one works good in my Sony DCR-HC28. I was able to charge it and it works good. have not used it much, but the other battery I bought would not even charge, said it had to have an info lithium battery.
