TASCAM iM2 Stereo Microphone for Apple iOS Products (White)

The compact and portable Tascam iM2 Stereo Microphone is digital recording device with a pair of integrated condenser microphones. It records using the CD-quality 44.1 kHz / 16 Bit Linear PCM digital format. The iM2 is designed for Apple iOS products and it's compatible with the iPad, iPad 2, iPod touch 4G, iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S. It features a 30-pin dock connector that attaches to your iPad/iPhone/iPod docking port. The iM2 is even powered through the docking port. For added convenience, the recorder does have a USB input that allows your Apple device to be charged via USB power through the recorder. Your iPad/iPhone/iPod can also be charged by connecting the optional Tascam PS-P515U AC adapter (sold separately) to the iM2.

Since the iM2 has a maximum sound pressure level (SPL) of 125dB, you'll be able to record loud live shows and rehearsals free of distortion. It can also be used for songwriting, lecture recording and video filming with quality stereo audio. For flexibility, the recorder's stereo condenser microphones are adjustable 180° front to back. There's a built-in analog to digital converter as well. A microphone preamp ensures low noise recording and a switchable limiter attenuates high-level signals to prevent recording overload. The iM2 even features adjustable input level control. It can also work with just about any recording app available, including the built-in video camera on your iPad or iPhone.
