Works but won't take much weight

I needed to mount a Nikon SB800 speed-light�+ Fong snoot + Phottix receiver for a hair light. Although the build�quality of this clamp is good, it will not stay in place on the backdrop pole, due to the before mentioned bumpers�not taking the weight. A small speed-light by itself would probably work just fine but not in my case.

I was hesitate to pay the extra to get this clamp- but I am sure glad I did. This is top notch pro gear- this should last a lifetime and it is so versatal

Having this Clamp mount on a light stand to hold a collapsible reflector is not going to be too much pressure on its' rim?

This clamp will not hurt a normal 5-1 reflector or collapsible background.
