The Savage Axis scope base mount came and was fine in reception with no damage. I mounted to a .308 platform with no hitches. The screws that came in the package material are flathead/ straight edge screws from Weaver. I utilized the Allen screws from the former two individual mounts to mount the new base and they mated perfectly to complete the scope mount. Base performed well in zeroing the package.
