Kopul M4030 Overview

The Kopul Studio Elite 4000 Series XLR M to XLR F Microphone Cable (30') is a studio-quality cable for connecting mics to mixers, preamps, audio interfaces and recorders; or to be used in any other application where XLR connectivity is required. The cable is engineered to be both quiet and durable, and is well-suited for critical recording and broadcast situations.

Studio Elite 4000 Series cables are made from 24 AWG OFC copper wire that's wrapped with PE insulation and a conductive PVC inner shield. A cotton-yarn inner layer helps reduce electrostatic and microphonic noise. A 98% braided outer shield makes the cable resistant to EMI and RFI noise. The Neutrix XX silver connectors provide a high level of connectivity, and all the solder connections are shrink-wrapped for protection.

98% braided shield offers protection from EMI and RFI noise.
Twin-conductive PVC inner shielding provides 100% coverage of the core conductor. It helps keep the cable's signal from radiating and affecting nearby cables, and also helps prevent external EMI from penetrating to the cable's core.
24 AWG oxygen-free stranded copper inner core provides the best possible conductivity.
Cotton yarn reduces electrostatic and microphonic noise.
All solder points shrink-wrapped for protection.
Neutrik XX silver connectors offer high conductivity.
Cast zinc shell and chuck style strain relief.

How long cable should be to connect amicrophone to panasonic hc x1000 CV Nunu?
Asked by: EDWIN
It should be long enough to enable you to be as far away as you want to be from whatever you’re plugged into (eg mixing desk).

Can the angle of the right-angle end be adjusted to better work with my setup? The way it is, it points upwards, when i have my Sennheiser mic on/off switch on top in my Canon XA30.

The Angle on the XLR connector is permanently set in place and cannot be adjusted.

question

Does the Kilip AV work with Iphone 7?
Asked by: Anonymous
I work with various Sony, Panasonic and JVC Prosumer Cameras. XLR with Rode mica. I could find nothing about Killip AV . If you are talking about the various hum killers then they are typically RCA connection. Buy a Y cable with RCA on one end and a mini on the other.

question

Can this cable be used to connect a Panasonic XLR1 Audio Adapter to a Sennheiser MKE 600 microphone?
Asked by: Michael
It's a fine standard XLR and if that's the connector on the Sennheiser it should be fine. Also - the staff on the phone at B&H know EVERYTHING. They've been so helpful over the years and will gladly help you and they will know definitively.

Can one side of the cable plug into the Zoom H4 and the other side into the rode ntg 2?

The Kopul Studio Elite 4000 cables would be the correct cable used to connect a shotgun mic such as the Rode NTG-2 to the input on the Zoom H4n recorder.

Does it come with a powercord?

No. The power for the mics comes from the camera on phantom power or the mic if it is wired up or a wireless/battery mic.

question

Is this really a quality cable? It's spec sheet is well written but I have some pretty serious doubts considering the price points are dramatically below most reputable brands. It's considerably cheaper than guitar center's livewire brand, which I would not consider to be a top quality product. Kopul's own website only offers a 1 year warranty.... Thoughts? Can anyone with longterm experience with this product attest to it's durability and reliable clean sound?

This is a good cable!
