  • Load Capacity: 44 lb
  • Max Height: 70.1"
  • Folded Length: 16.9"

The CT-3441S Traveler Rapid Carbon Fiber Tripod from Feisol is a solid set of heavy-duty four-section carbon fiber legs that weigh 2.5 lb, hold up to 44 lb, and can be extended to 70.1". The legs are reverse-folding so that they enclose the included 2-section telescopic center column and optional ball head, allowing them to fold down to 16.9". Feisol's Rapid anti-leg rotation technology prevents unwanted leg twist, and a ballast hook on the center column permits the hanging of stabilizing weight. A tripod bag is included for storage and transport.

Does this have a hook on the bottom of the center column?
Asked by: Amy
The FEISOL CT-3441S Traveler Rapid Carbon Fiber Tripod, B&H # FECT3441S, does not have a hook on the bottom of the center column. However, you could instead use the FEISOL CC-2807 Short Center Column, B&H # FECC2807, which has a hook.

Is this a waterproof tripod?
Asked by: Sharon
This is not labeled as a waterproof tripod but since it is carbon fiber, it is not an issue. Regardless, you should always wipe it down completely after getting it wet.

Hi Maria, you cannot remove one of the Center Column sections but you can extend only one of the two sections, giving you maximum flexibility for using the column at whichever height is perfect for your shot.

question

Is the center column removable in this tripod?
Asked by: Nikhil N.
Yes it is. In fact, I prefer to use the tripod with the short center column (CC2807) which I purchased separately so I can get low to the ground. I always keep the standard telescopic center column in my bag as I occasionally need the extra height.

question

Can this support the weight of Canon 300 f2.8 and 1D Mk IV?
Asked by: Anonymous
The tripod can easily hold it. The issue you'll face is the ball head. Assuming that you want to keep the weight light, you'll want a lightweight head, too. Whichever one you get, make sure it can handle the weight of the body and lens. Keep in mind that the lens acts as a lever. That lens, especially with filters attached will cause many lesser heads to creep. FWIW, I use a Really Right Stuff BH-30, Canon 70D and (among others) a Canon 100-400 (old model) with no problem
