Exactly what you want in a protective filter—simple, well-built, and completely invisible in use. The build quality feels premium right out of the box, with a solid construction that matches the standard you expect from Fujifilm. Most importantly, it does its job without affecting image quality at all. No noticeable loss of sharpness, no weird reflections, and no color shift—it’s like it’s not even there, which is exactly the point. It threads on smoothly, fits perfectly, and gives peace of mind when shooting in everyday conditions or more demanding environments. I can’t recommend Fuji protector filters enough. The Fujifilm 49mm Protector Filter is not a ND filter. This filter is clear and is meant only to protect the lens from dust and physical damage.

Can I use this filter, without an adaptor, for X100v?

its recommended NOT to attach the filter directly onto the lens. using the adapter will give the lens enough space to move when you turn it on . Without the adapter you , possibly, will get a ' lens error' with possible damage to the lens.
