Can this filter use it both sides? I have to install this filter reverse in order to use a different lens hood. Would there be same result?

This filter has front and back threads. And they are in reverse. So the back of the filter screws in to the lens and the front of the filter works with accessories that have a 49mm thread like some lens hoods.

yes, this 49mm thread filter will fit on the X100v and you do need to attach the adapter to the lens first. Without the adapter the filter will cause a lens error.
