While no hard disk drives are included with the server, it can hold four SATA I/II 3.5" or 2.5" hard disk drives. With your drives installed, you have the option to format them in a RAID 0, 1, 5, 6 and 10 configuration that can be encrypted, or as a JBOD. So as to transfer data quickly, this Thecus NAS is the first server to utilize an Intel Atom D2700 processor. It also has 2GB of DDR3 RAM.
