TetherPro USB 3.0 Male Type-A to USB 3.0 Micro-B Cable (15', Orange) is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 62.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Tether Cable The is an excellent tether cable, made of good material and seems of excellent quality as well. I found working with the tether cable to be very flexible and pliable. Functionality of it is working great and is fast transporting the data from the Nikon D800 camera to the my Mac Pro Six Core tower. My tether program is Adobe Photoshop Lightroom. These tools are working great for me as I am not allowed to visually see my product shots and make corrections on the fly. And the color is a safety feature making you constantly aware the cable is laid on the floor in your work area. I would also recommend that you also purchase the Tether Tools JerkStopper Camera Support, as I did. The two work together hand in hand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect I used my cable during studio portraits and fashion shoots. I tether it to Lightroom CC and the sync speed is incredibly fast. The 15' cable is long enough for me in the studio because I usually place my laptop close to me when I shoot. I would highly recommend this to anyone shooting in a studio or thinking about tethering do Capture One or Lightroom.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from loose compared to the Canon tether cable I shoot tethered for nearly all of my shoots and have used Tether Tools for years. Now I have a new cable and also an older Canon cable I can compare and find far less drop outs with the Canon cable. The new Tether Tools cable just does not fit as snuggly and as I am often shooting alone I find it extremely frustrating that the camera drops out when I use the TT cable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It works with no issues Bought this for camera control software and tethering for a Nikon D810. Works flawlessly, but a bit pricey. Having had issues with cheap cables in the past, went with this one and am not disappointed. Would be five stars if price were a bit lower...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Tethering made easy I was looking for a fast, reliable option for getting my images from my Nikon D-800 to my Macbook Pro for instant client review while on location. Wireless options are limited and somewhat slow. The TetherPro cable is USB3 which is compatible with the D-800 and backwards compatible to USB2 for my 2007 Macbook Pro. It's a simple, somewhat old school set up that just works. The cable does easily fall out of the camera's usb port so a Jerk Stopper or other cable support is needed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I needed some room to work. Use with MAC book PRO ,Nikon D800 and LR4. Does great Job, gives me some room to work.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty simple idea, works like a charm Did my first studio shoot of a five person local band, yesterday. As convenient as tethering is there are a lot of cables over which someone can stumble. This cord seemed to be the one ring that ruled them all: it gave loud notice to watch your step. It was a bit stiff so while this may make it durable, I did need to twist it to insert it correctly. Not a huge issue but I kept wondering what torque I was putting on that delicate USB port on the d810.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's a USB cable! It plugs into my camera and my computer, and makes files transfer. What more do you need? :) The cable itself is thick, likely due to both the quality of construction and the fact it's USB 3.0. The Male A end fits rather loosely into my MacBook Pro, but that's not the cord's fault; the port is only USB 2.0, and too shallow to fit the whole plug. It is compatible though, and transfers files faster than other USB 2.0 cables I've used to tether.
