The 15' Pearstone Type A Male to Micro Type B Male Cable provides a reliable way to connect USB devices to your computer for charging and data transfer. The cable allows you to benefit from the USB 3.0 SuperSpeed maximum transfer rate of 5 Gbps, which is ten times faster than USB 2.0.

This premium cable features two unidirectional paths that simultaneously transmit and receive data. With a maximum throughput of 900 mA for configured high power devices, the cable is capable of powering bigger devices that require more energy. Additionally, USB 3.0 standard type A connectors are backwards compatible with USB 2.0 standard A -- as long as one of the devices is USB 3.0 compliant.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from not replacing the Tether pro I bought this after I upgraded to D810 and realized I couldn't use the same Tether Pro cable i was using with my D600. Not wanting to spend another hundred++ bucks on a new cable I bought this one, because the review said it was just as good. Well it's not, it keeps disconnecting even when the cable is firmly tucked in camera, it's also a lot more stiff than the Tether Pro so it stays in the air between you and the computer instead of lying on the floor, which can cause people to trip on it on a busy set. It's also ticker so it takes more space in my bag. Don't buy this if you're used to the Tether pro, dont cheap out and buy the real thing

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works like a charm! This USB 3.0 Type A Male to Micro Type B Cable - 15' by Pearstone is just what I needed. There were only a couple of other brands on the market with the length that was needed at triple the cost. At first, B & H indicated they not did have the item but a few minuets later I received a link directing me to the product - this was a direct result of the agent conducting research of a product long after the conversation had ended. That was great as I really needed this piece of equipment for the type shooting that I do. Thank you B & H, and I will continue to order from you as I greatly appreciate how you do business. Best Regards, Marty C.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Deal Just bought a $ Nikon D810 which came with a 3' cord that is just about worthless. I'm a product photographer and do 90%+ of my work shooting tethered. This cable may or may not last as long as the orange ones but you can buy 5 of these and throw them away as they go bad for the price of one of the orange cables which are also Chinese made.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Decent low cost option for tethered shooting I used this to tether my D800 to CaptureOne for a fashion shoot. It worked pretty well, but the main issue I had was that you definitely need a jerk stopper or something like that, because the cable kept slipping out of the jack, and whenever that happens CaptureOne pretty much immediately loses contact with the camera (keep a memory card in the camera just in case so you don't lose images!). But, it's a heavy, pretty rigid cable, nothing flimsy about this, and it did the trick when it didn't come loose.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AWESOME price and quality When I saw the price I was somewhat skeptical. The orange cable by another vendor is four times more expensive. The cable is well made and isn't one of those thin unshielded cables. I tried this with my Nikon D810 and a MAC and a PC. It worked well and I know I'm going to buy a few more. I'm going to look into other cables by this vendor as this thing is very good.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Seems like a good cable I've used it only once, but so far so good. It replaced an older cable that I could no longer use since the newer Canon bodies have a different USB port. My main and probably only use is in my home studio shooting product and stock photos. It probably isn't as high-quality as the TetherPro cable, but for my needs, I think it will suit me just fine at 1/3 of the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tether away! Works on Nikon D810 tethered to a 2012 iMac via a usb-thunderbolt converter and into Lightroom for capture. Do have to secure it from slipping out of the socket on the camera (tape works fine), no biggie. Cheaper than the orange cord and length is perfect for my use with small table top or copy stand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Cable Bought this cable for my D800 and it worked great. Perfect for use on a tripod. I used it doing some work off the tripod as well and everything was great. Seems a little sketchy for more free form work but great results.
