Are all the parts made of steel? What is the load capacity?
The manufacture does not list the load capacity on the Impact 3" Center Jaw Vise Grip. But it can support most lights under 12 lbs. And it is all steel but the rubber part on the clamp.

I mistakenly bought this instead of an End Vise ...
I mistakenly bought this instead of an End Vise Grip. Is it possible to reverse the components to have it clamp at the end?
I am sorry the Impact 3" Center Jaw Vise Grip is not made to be setup in reverse.

Has anyone tried using this with a GoPro?
This is a bit of an overkill for a Go Pro. You will need to get a 5/8 stud to 1/4 thredded adapter to mount the Go Pro tripod adapter to this clamp. You might want to look at a Manffroto super clamp with stud or nano clamp with stud

Can I use this with the Impact Grip Head 2.5 (KCP-200). Does the stud is long enough?
Yes. There will be enough spigot to make a decent grip to a grip head
