the Kupo Aluminum Core for my 9 backdrop is heavy duty and not too heavy. I originally tried to use PVC but found it quickly started sagging so I returned it and purchased this instead. Love it!

The cardboard cores are pretty soft for any size above 48, so this works great, and it is perfect to handle a fabric backdrop when not using a paper roll.

Can this be used inside the cardboard core of Savage 9' seamless paper rolls to prevent sagging?
Yes. It absolutely can. I use 3 of them on 3 different rolls of 107â seamless. All are ceiling-mounted on a Varidrive system. Make sure to add a single layer (about 4â wide) of kitchen cabinet rubber liner to each end of the Kupo pole to get it to catch on the paperâs cardboard tube so that it doesnât spin freely when you are attempting to roll/unroll the paper. You can easily find YouTube videos showing this if you need it.
