This Aluminum Core for a 9' Background from Kupo is designed for use with paper or fabric that doesn't have a solid interior running through it. This item fastens together to create a cylinder that is used with Kudo or compatible background drive sets. It can also serve as a regular crossbar that mounts to optional super clamp-type mounts and J-Hooks to hold a backdrop.

Can this be used inside the cardboard core of Savage 9' seamless paper rolls to prevent sagging?
Yes. It absolutely can. I use 3 of them on 3 different rolls of 107â seamless. All are ceiling-mounted on a Varidrive system. Make sure to add a single layer (about 4â wide) of kitchen cabinet rubber liner to each end of the Kupo pole to get it to catch on the paperâs cardboard tube so that it doesnât spin freely when you are attempting to roll/unroll the paper. You can easily find YouTube videos showing this if you need it.
