With the 1' cable, is the length measured between the connector tips or the cable length in between the connectors?
Generally the cable is measured prior to adding the connectors. The length as a result for most cables including the PM Series XLR Male to XLR Female Professional Microphone Cable (1', Black) having a length of slightly above the measured length due to the extra length added by the connectors. For XLR cables, it works out to be roughly around 1" in added length assuming there was zero loss during the cable's construction.

Connectors are not Neutrik. Appears to be Attache, but it's solidly-built. Seems like a quality cable.
