Sunwayfoto DT-0250 Reviews
Does Not Tilt Forward/Back
I wanted a compact tilt/pan head. I liked that this had knob and not handles. However, it tilts left/right, but not forward/back. The holes are there to switch, but the pins don't move. I tried what Sunwayfoto technical support suggested, to no avail. It's a shame, because otherwise, it was exactly what I wanted. This is what Sunwayfoto technical support said (keeping poor grammar): On removing the pins, you may firstly use some tool to knock the pins a bit to get it loosened, then use a plier or similar tool to remove the pins and reassemble them for a different orientation tilting. Kindly note that the tools you use should be plastic or similar to avoid scratches or damages to the pins.
1 critical flaw
Well made head but the panning knob is so tight that I cannot unscrew it (I have strong hands). Alas, it's going back.
