A super addition to my mobile capabilities. Comfortable and extremely functional. Fit every piece of equipment I typically carry in my Pelican case. Used it for international shoot and was very pleased.

question

FS5 fully assembled?
Asked by: Doyle
The Sony PXW-FS5 fully built with with 18 to 105mm lens, lens hood, large eyecup, LCD viewfinder, top handle, grip is 7.38 x 8.63 x 6.88 / 18.73 x 21.91 x 17.46 cm. the interior of the CineBags CB23 DSLR / HD Backpack (Black/Charcoal) B&H # CICB23A is 14.0 x 10.0 x 7.0 (35.6 x 25.4 x 18 cm). While technically it should fit, practically speaking we would be more inclined to go for a larger bag such as the CineBags CB25B Revolution Backpack (Black/Charcoal) B&H # CICB25B which is 18.0 x 11.0 x 9.0 / 45.7 x 27.9 x 22.9 cm. A back pack is convenient a great deal of the time and imperative when you have to hike in to a location. However, we would like to say that in the long run for maximum convenience in traveling, storing and working on set, we would recommend a hard, waterproof case such as this Jason Cases Hard Case with Wheels for Sony FS5 Camera Kit B&H # JASNFS5PL. The camera is built yet completely safe. No worries if the case falls off the vehicle, put under great weight by accident or worrying about someone sitting on it or falling off the pier into the water.

question

I know it might be tight but would a c100 with 24-105, handle and VMP fit in this? I'm worried that if I get a cb25, I'll have to check it on flights.
Asked by: M J.
Without being able to physically place the gear in a particular container, saying yes or no as to its efficacy is limited to an opinion. Generally, our advice is to gather all gear going into a container on a table and measuring possible arrangements while allowing for padding. This gives you a very good idea of the size needed. I suggest not traveling with the C100's top handle on for there is too much chance of breakage. The camera with the grip on should be fine and that is: 7.2 x 6.7 x 5.1 in (18.2 x 17 x 12.9 cm). This easily fits the CineBags CB23 and I should think the rest of the gear will be good as well. But as suggested, measure your gear before you buy. You have 30 days to return if the bag is incompatible.

Will this fit under the seat on an airplane?

Will this fit under the seat on an airplane?
Asked by: Stephanie
FAA and airline carry-on specifications are subject to change without notice, please check with your airline before designating this case as a carry-on item. Most airlines require carry-on items to have an external linear measurement that is equal to or less than 45.0" (114.3 cm). The external dimensions of this case add up to 38.5" (97.8 cm). Below-seat dimensions vary by airline. This bag has external dimensions of 19.0 x 10.5 x 9.0". As long as it isn't packed totally full, this bag should fit under most airline seats, but I advise checking with your airline to make sure.

question

I have a JVC GY-HM170UA 4KCAM will this fit in the bag without taking it apart
Asked by: Chris G.
This bag has interior dimensions of 14.0 x 10.0 x 7.0 , while the JVC GY-HM170UA is 11.8 x 6.0 x 4.4 , B&H # JVGYHM170UA. It should fit very well in the bag. If you have a shotgun mic and light attached to the camera you will probably need to take them off, but you should not need to break down the camera beyond that.

question

will my Nikon 7100 and 128x300 lens fit in this bag?
Asked by: Anonymous
We bought this bag specifically for my husband to pack a Nikon D7100 and a couple lenses as well as his laptop for an overseas business trip that took him from Europe then directly to vacation in South America and Antarctica. It easily fit the camera body, a Sigma f/1.8 18-35 lens, and a Nikkor 55-300 with plenty of room to spare for additional lenses if needed. We used the extra space for a couple filters, travel guides, and other items in just the camera compartment. It held up nicely - very glad we made the purchase.

question

It says the laptop compartment is 14'' x 10'' x 2''. If I have a laptop that is 15'' in height can I make it fit? Is there some wiggle room?
Asked by: Anonymous
Sorry but it won't fit. I have a Thinkpad T42p that is 13 in length and that *just* fits enough to zip up. There's another inch of headroom but then you wouldn't be able to zip up the compartment since on the corners it's rounded.

question

Will this bag fit a Blackmagic Cinema Camera?
Asked by: Adam M.
It should fit the body fine - it will depend on your rig and lens/lenses though. I fit a 5D, three lenses (one of which is a 70-200mm), rode mic and batteries/chargers stuffed in and around. Very adjustable compartments if you need to change out your gear per job. Hope that helps.
