Lectrosonics SMV Super Miniature Wireless Microphone Transmitter (Block 19: 486 to 511 MHz)
Key Features
  • Frequency Block 19
  • Digital Hybrid Wireless Technology
  • Selectable RF Output Power
  • 256 UHF Frequencies at 100 kHz
The Lectrosonics SMV Super Miniature Wireless Microphone Transmitter incorporates Lectrosonics patented Digital Hybrid Wireless technology into a package no bigger than a pager. The SMV transmitter is miniature in size yet rugged enough to withstand rigorous daily use in the field or in studios.

To meet the demand for both extended operating range and extended battery life, this version of the SMV transmitter offers a selectable output power of 50, 100 or 250 mW. The 50mW option is provided for some theatrical applications, where the system design specifies lower transmitter power. Channel spacing is also selectable, with 100 and 25 kHz options available. With the spacing set to 100 kHz, the SMV transmitter offers 256 user-selectable UHF frequencies in this block; if that's not enough, setting the spacing to 25 kHz gives you up to 1000 frequencies to work with.

question

How long can this mic stay in standby mode if using a lithium battery?
Asked by: Anonymous
I'm not sure about standby mode but I've gotten 3.5-4 hours out of use out of the thing. I always use lithium batteries. Energizer makes two different ones though: Advanced which they say lasts up to 6 times longer and Ultimate which they say lasts up to 9 times longer. Great mic!
