The Rycote InVision INV-HG mkIII Microphone Suspension addresses the demand for a heavy-duty shockmount to secure shotgun microphones. The INV-HG mkIII will minimalize handling noise, rumble, and vibration in all speech-capturing applications.

The InVision Lyre cradle accommodates most microphones measuring 19 to 34mm in diameter, like the Sennheiser MKH416 or MKH60. The cradle stabilizes even heavy microphones and allows the use of windscreens without sagging. A heavy duty swivel with a star knob fastens your mic tightly in place. The Lyre cradle rests on a miniature bar with a 3/8" threaded base and includes a 5/8" adapter.

The INV-HG mkIII base features an integrated cable clamp for securing excess cable and minimizing noise. The unique Lyre suspension and cable clamp are engineered with Hytrel for a virtually indestructible design that maximizes shock and noise absorbtion.

Large Lyre Suspension for Boom Operation

The Patented Rycote Lyre suspension cradle measures 70mm high and 40mm wide to accommodate heavier microphones. This is ideal for static stand mounting as well as boom placement.

19 to 34mm Mounting Cradle

The cradle included with this system accommodates microphone diameters measuring between 19 to 34mm. The interior is treated with a soft-grip surface for a perfect, non-slip fitting.

Hytrel Construction

The unique Lyre suspension is engineered with Hytrel for a virtually indestructible design that maximizes shock and noise absorbtion.

Integrated 3/8" Threaded Base with 5/8" Stand Adapter

A 3/8" threaded base and a 5/8" threaded stand adapter is featured at the base for microphone boom pole and stand mounting.

Sennheiser MKH8060 fits with this? INV LITE 19, ...

Sennheiser MKH8060 fits with this? INV LITE 19, prefer to avoid it as concern for secure grip on mic and may be leaving a mark on mic. Didn't find much evidence on internet.
Asked by: Hardik
We purchased 4 INV-7 HG MkIII mounts for our MKH 20s and 40s. They have performed well and hold the mics very tightly. The 8060 is a little smaller so I would go with your selection of the INV Lite 19 for boom mounting a mic of your diameter. I've never noticed them leaving any kind of mark on the microphone. I'm sure if they did folks would be screaming. Hope this helps.

question

Will this work with a KM185 and a BBG?
Asked by: Hugh S.
It might be a little stiff for that short Neumann. This mount is intended for heavier/longer mic/windscreen units. I use it for a MKH-416 with super softie on the end of a boom pole. Excellent isolation. You might want to consider one of the INV series mounts from Rycote. I use the InVision INV-HG mkIII Microphone Suspension - Lyre Shockmount for the length & weight of your Neumann.
