The DINION capture 7000 License Plate Camera (NTSC) from Bosch captures detailed and reliable images of vehicle license plates, and is ideal for use in parking lots, public places, and freeways. An additional overview camera provides the complete vehicle image simultaneously for accurate vehicle identification. The camera's DINION 2X technology, along with the 20-bit digital signal processing, helps this camera achieve great clarity levels by exposing the tiniest details in the captured images. With its ability to record images of vehicles moving as fast as 140 mph (225 kmph), this camera proves highly efficient for monitoring and enforcing speed limits on freeways.
With a 1/3” wide dynamic range CCD sensor at its heart, this license plate camera records footage at a horizontal resolution of 540 TVL. The 5 to 50mm varifocal lens of this camera is pre-calibrated to provide a surveillance range of 26 to 45' (7.9 to 13.7 m) and delivers optimum images at 33.5' (10.2 m). Additionally, the overview camera provides clear vehicle images with a horizontal resolution of 520 TVL. Synchronization with the LED array enables the camera to function at night as well.
In bright lighting situations, this camera makes use of Advanced Ambient Compensation, which automatically adjusts the exposure and prevents photos from being washed out. This feature is especially useful in situations when the source of light is behind the camera or when the headlight glare of an oncoming car is affecting the image quality. At night, the Night Capture Imaging system illuminates the license plate with a burst of infrared light from the pulsed LED array (850 nm). As the visible light is filtered, a clear IR-illuminated image of the license plate is obtained. Automatic Mode Switching in this Bosch camera features 6 programmable modes that help the camera easily adapt to changes in ambient light in the surveillance area, thus guaranteeing reliable 24/7 monitoring.
The weather-sealed IP67-rated aluminum housing of this Bosch surveillance camera keeps dust and water at bay. This means you can mount the camera outdoors, without having to worry about the internal and external components getting corroded.
