With a 1/3” wide dynamic range CCD sensor at its heart, this license plate camera records footage at a horizontal resolution of 540 TVL. The 5 to 50mm varifocal lens of this camera is pre-calibrated to provide a surveillance range of 26 to 45' (7.9 to 13.7 m) and delivers optimum images at 33.5' (10.2 m). Additionally, the overview camera provides clear vehicle images with a horizontal resolution of 520 TVL. Synchronization with the LED array enables the camera to function at night as well.
In bright lighting situations, this camera makes use of Advanced Ambient Compensation, which automatically adjusts the exposure and prevents photos from being washed out.
