TecNec ENG-4 Reviews
Not as rugged as it looks

Based on the photo I assumed it was metal but it is actually plastic. It would be fine for something very light but I was hoping to use it for a Shure MXA mic and I don't trust it now that I have it in hand. The tilt adjustments don't seem to have enough resistance to keep a heavy mic in place and I am afraid to turn the clamp screw very tight for fear of snapping it.
Great but fragile

As a one man-band I find this indispensable. It goes from clamp to tripod to pistol grip instantly for my shotgun. But the bad news is the plastic is too weak. I've broken 2 already. But I always order a replacement. So long as you realize these are a bit disposable and won't last forever, it's really quite useful.
