These folks make a similar clamp with a Ratchet Handle, but that takes up more space. For mounting behind a desk with limited clearance, this T-Handle version is perfect.

I am very happy with this clamp. It is very solid and sturdy as well as adaptable to a wide variety of clamping situations. I am a wedding photographer with a lot of unusual places I need to mount gear and this clamp is perfect!

Problem with wedge insert

Photo shows wedge insert [used for flat surfaces] being stored under tightening knob when not in use, as for standard Manfrotto. However, wedge profile is cut wrong and will not fit in this position, leaving me no place to store it. I purchased 6 of these, and all have the same problem. An annoyance.

This is a beefy little clamp. It holds the lights we purchased quite well, both on a table-edge, and to a light-pole.

If the stud was oriented horizontally, parallel to a table, could the 1/4-20 screw end hold 5-10 lbs. without snapping off? If not, is there a stud like this made out of steel, like a QR plate's screw?
Asked by: Kaegen
I've never tried it in that configuration but would say yes but that weight would be the limit. It is a sturdy clamp. With that much weight, make sure it's secure and you might want to tether whatever you're clamping down. I'm assuming it's a camera. Hope that helps and good luck.

question

Hi Can I attach a gimbal head to the clamp?,I want to clamp it to a shelf in a hide with gimbal head attached to mount my camera and large prime lens to.I believe the clamp can hold 30lbs is that correct?
Asked by: Des L.
You could attach a gimbal head to this clamp since it can hold up to 33 lbs. To get the head attached, you can use the Manfrotto 208HEX Head Mounting Plate with Hex Stud - 3/8 Thread B&H # MA208HEX which has a 3/8 male thread. Please see the image below for reference.

question

I have a Sirui K20X ballhead, how could I attach to this clamp?
Asked by: Duy
As long as your ballhead is equipped with 5/8 or 1/4 threaded insert at the bottom, is just a matter of thread in baby stud into it and than secure ballhead into a clamp with provided wing screw. After that ready to use

question

In the product highlights it says it includes a 5/8 baby stud. Is there a link to what that is?
Asked by: Robert
Good answer from Michael B. Additional for Robert- type 5/8 baby stud into the B$H search bar for a visual on many products with the stud showing. It will be obvious what part this is. I use the super clam to hold a AC strobe power supply to a strobe tripod. It is extremely secure with the clamp and the stud 1/4 thread mounts to the supply.

question

Will this fit onto a guitar ?
Asked by: Anonymous
It would depend on how wide the neck of your guitar was, I tried it on a Takamine acoustic around the neck, it may interfere with the strings on the fret board, alternatively it will fit up where the string clamps and tuning thumb screws are. Hope that helps.
