Solid connector

I've been soldering electronics for 55yrs. Its not for amatures to attach these to expensive cables or equipment. If you know what you're doing, its the way to go. Nice solid quiet connections. The transition to the connector seems a bit abrupt and im wondering if a shrink sleeve would be needed for better strain relief but no issues so far w mogami long distance mike cable.

Solid product but requires wiring

Assembly is required, instructions not included, but very easy to locate on website of company. Company name is clearly labeled on the plastic bags parts come in. However because the product photo is from one angle, I didn't realize you would need to actually solder/splice in wires for this item. I thought it was just a female jack on the other side. Totally on me not realizing, but thought I'd write this review to help others not make the same mistake. Aside from that, product seems very solid and would otherwise recommend.
