I wouldn't normally review this, but I felt the need to counterbalance the Jackhats who gave this bad reviews because they had absolutely no idea what they were buying. It's a plug for terminating audio cables. It's made and packaged for people who know how to do this, which includes knowing how to solder. And knowing how to consult the internet if you're not sure how something works. Neutrik puts professional in the name. They did not market this as My toddler's first guitar cable kit. End rant. So what's good about it? It's super well designed, like everything Neutrik makes. It's burly. The case is die-cast metal, which contributes to the shielding. The built-in strain relief is excellent. If you're like me, the thing you ask most from cables is to keep working. I don't think anything else will be better or longer lasting in this regard. The only legit complaint I've heard is that it's bulky. It is. If you need something compact, there are better choices.

Assembly of these is very easy, but the instructions are on Neutrik web site, search the part number and there will be info how to assemble the connector.
