Didn't know what I was missing until I got this cheap plastic flash dome modifier but this thing is a real help for just needing to soften your flash when you don't feel like setting up a softbox or reflectors or umbrellas. And, as others have noted, you can leave it on your Canon 600 EX RT flash and it fits in the case without needing to take it off!

To be used with the Canon 600 EX-RT FlashFirst off, do I have to bounce the flash every time? how about if it is in a church and the ceiling is very high?Second, Is there any exposure compensation I must do manually to the flash?? or the flash will compensate itself?? You do not need to bounce every time, and if you are in a place with high ceilings you probably don't want to bounce it. If you are shooting in TTL mode you will not need to compensate the flash because the camera and flash will calculate and adjust to the proper output.

Can you store this with it on inside the canon pouches that come with the 600ex-rts? The Sto-Fen one I have is much larger and won't curious if anyone can tell me if the velcro will easily close with it on inside it's pouch.

The Velcro does close but does not engage completely. However it closes enough to keep that unit securely in the pouch.

Yes, They do work well. And no, they don't fall off easily. I have three different brands of these things and these work just as well as any others. They are the perfect low profile diffusion for an on-camera flash.
