Motorola 1518 Reviews
Don't buy them
My hunting trip last week was ruined by the non-functioning 1518 Headset purchased with my T482 Walkie Talkies for my 3 friends. When I purchased the T482's, the 1518 Headset was recommended. We were in a flat wooded forest and the Walkie Talkies would not pick up longer that 75 yards away. You had to turn the volume up all the way to hear a little bit and the squelch about blew your ear drums out when you started and finished talking. We had to use the radios without the headsets and I am sure the deer heard the radios squelching. I tried 17 times today to contact Motorola about the problem but the line always rang busy. I tried the chat but they wanted $1 for the service and did not think that was right. Stay away from these 2 items used together. Believe the clear tube does not handle voice properly.
Poor quality
We could not communicate well at all with these headphones and mics paired with our walker talkies. Very disappointed. I will return this product.
