The Small Finger Loop for Handgrip M from Leica is a sturdy rubber finger loop that attaches to the Handgrip M or Multifunctional Handgrip M and allows for improved handling of the Leica M Digital Rangefinder. The Finger Loop screws into the side of either handgrip and provides enhanced stability and security when shooting with the Leica M, especially when shooting with heavier lenses or shooting one-handed. Depending on your finger size and comfort level, you can place two or three fingers through the loop and keep your index finger free to press the shutter. The Finger Loop comes in small, medium or large sizes.

No. It does not work on the Q. The only option would be the hand grip item # 19505 to be used on the Q. No finger loop available.

Unfortunately, there is no way to test out the sizes without having the product. If you have larger hands, I would advise going with the Large size. The Medium will be better suited for average fingers.

So let me get this straight. The handgrip is $109- but this little finger loop is $149-? That's how they're listed on this website. Surely this is a mistake and I assume it is $149- for both the grip and finger loop. Is this correct? Love the concept of a more secure one hand grip.
I have this combo for the X-Vario. Yes, Leica sells it to you as two accessory pieces. Those prices look high to me but maybe they've gone up. I don't recall the finger loop being quite so expensive (bought it at B&H too). This combo is not inexpensive by any stretch but both pieces are extremely well made and go together beautifully. No rough edges, nicely finished. I particularly like the machined screw swivel of the finger loop. You're paying for this precise machine work (and high quality materlals) and of course, the Leica NAME.

I have large hands and the large loop fits well. It might be better to get the normal size if the don't have large hands.
