Tivoli Model One Overview

The Tivoli Model One Bluetooth AM/FM Radio in white/silver pairs new-age technology with old-school functionality. It features a simple interface, room-filling sound, and Bluetooth connectivity for Bluetooth-enabled devices.

After turning the radio on, the sensitive AM/FM tuner handles station identification and pours music through the 3" full-range long-throw drivers in the speaker. Clear hi-fidelity sound, just like desktop AM/FM radios of the past.

The Model One also allows you to stream audio wirelessly through the integrated Bluetooth receiver, which uses advanced A2DP technology for high-quality wireless audio. The Model One also features FHSS (Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum), usually lauded by RC model car enthusiasts as the best technology to hit the market in the last five years. It narrows the frequency across the spectrum in short "hops" instead of a single signal, intercepting and eliminating interference from other devices on the 2.4 GHz band. What you get is an almost interference-free Bluetooth experience.

Along with FHSS, this model features an auxiliary input and stereo headphone output just in case you want to go old-school with your peripherals, like a connected iPod or coil-connected large-earpad headphones. It also includes a Record output so you can attach recording devices (like a cassette deck) and get back into creating mix tapes for yourself. The standard 30' reception range for Bluetooth and device pairing functionality is present here as well.

A simple AM/FM radio with technological muscle is what makes the Tivoli Model One Bluetooth AM/FM radio a must-have for dorm rooms, kitchens, or anywhere you want clear, connected sound.

New-Age Technology
With the addition of Bluetooth wireless technology, when you're not listening to the world-famous analog AM/FM tuner, you can listen to music stored on your Bluetooth wireless technology-enabled device. You'll hear your music through the Model One BT thanks to Bluetooth wireless technology's advanced A2DP profile, combined with the Model One BT's trademark equalization.
Old-School Functionality
You won't have to dig out an audio cable for your enabled device every time you want to listen to your music through the Model One BT. But don't worry, the Auxiliary input is still onboard, along with the Record and Headphone outputs, so you can continue to connect those "old-fashioned" wired devices.

Got tired of the hassle with Bose not supporting my Soundtouch 20 and decided to dump that and replace it with the Tivoli Model One BT. The Tivoli looks great, sounds great and was easy to order thru B&H. Looking at getting another one for the other side of the house.

Own Two and enjoy both.

This is my second radio purchase of this model. I enjoy both, one in my den and the other in my bath room. I like to listen to classical music and the fidelity is good throughout the range that a 70+ year old can hear after office work all his life. Particular enjoyment comes from Sunday morning music with coffee and getting ready for Church.

The Tivoli Model One does not have presets to store stations. For that feature, you would use something more like BH #SAWR22WL

Hello, The Model One BT is a stereo receiver, but the unit it self only has a single speaker. The headphone and record outputs are both stereo. Thank you for choosing Tivoli Audio!

My model 1 has 12vdc port, was that common on the first ones? Also the cabinet is BLK/ SLV, doesn't appear to be wood? Excellent radio, clear! Garage sale, 8.00 love it!
Asked by: Matt
The furniture-grade, handmade wood cabinet is stunning in appearance but also performs double duty working as an acoustically inert housing unit. It is Beige / Walnut. The original models had hard wired AC line cords.
