Convert a 3G-SDI signal to an LC fiber output, or vice-versa an LC fiber signal to a 3G-SDI output, in resolutions up to 1080p. Transmit the fiber signal six miles at the max resolution over a single-mode fiber cable. AJA's FiDO-TR features one 3G-SDI input/output pair and one LC optical fiber input/output pair, in a compact body suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Use it with compatible devices, or pair it with a corresponding FiDO Mini Converter.

Can you run the fiber through a switch or does this have to be point-to-point?
Unfortunately Tim is wrong. After purchasing this product and it not working through a switch I emailed AJA directly and here is their response
As the FiDOs donât use a standard packet structure for sending serial data, they cannot be routed through a switch.
