Velbon V-4 Articulating Boom Arm

The V-4 Articulating Boom Arm from Velbon is a support that features a geared/slide elevator with a 180° tilt arm and a 360° horizontal pan. More versatile than a traditional side-arm, it fits onto almost any tripod, thanks to the included 1/4" and 3/8" mounting threads, and it can accommodate most tripod heads via the end pedestal which has a 1/4" screw.

A single twist of the grip at the end of the multi-angle arm loosens both the tilt and rotation, and when the arm is in the desired position, a twist of the grip in the opposite direction re-engages the lock and the arm is fixed again. It's particularly useful for macro photography, copying and any other application where fine adjustment of the camera position is required.
