The chestnut Camera Leash by HoldFast Gear is a 15.3" camera attachment strap made of English Bridle leather that has a split ring on one end and a D-ring on the other. When paired with an optional harness, this leash allows you to carry a third camera when working a busy event or strenuous location shoot. The Leash can serve as a camera wrist strap or a key ring, and is compatible with a diverse amount of HoldFast gear. Clip the split ring into an optional Holdfast Accessory Clip, or the Money Maker Harness, or tie to the Leather Photo Belt. A nickel plated D-ring allows you to further accessorize this strap with attachments like the Leather HF Triple Bag.

I liked the silver finish. Do you have any left and if so in which colors?
HoldFast Gear Camera Leash comes in Bridle Black, Bridle Chestnut, Bridle Tan, Buffalo Black, Buffalo Burgundy, and Buffalo Tan. Unfortunately I don't see any that say silver. The hardware for all of them is silver in color though.

Is there a patch of leather included to protect the camera from the clasp of the wrist strap where it attaches to the post of the camera?
There is not but it is not really a concern that I have had. I have used his strap for over a year and have never had damage to the camera body for the clasp. And PS I love this strap!
