This Impact LS-RL7 7.2' Reverse Legs Light Stand is a lightweight support that's ideal for location work or in the studio for use with a small lights or to hold reflectors. This is one of the few stands to be able to sit completely flush to the floor where they can be taped down or sandbagged to stabilize its load. The LS-RL7's unique design allows the legs to fold up around the central risers somewhat like an inverted umbrella. The result is a 7.2' light stand that breaks down to only 19.5" - short enough to fit in even the smallest light kit bags. The stand is topped with a 5/8" mounting stud with 3/8" threads, a 3/8" 1/4"-20 adapter, and weighs just 2.6 lb.

Impact LS-RL7 Reviews
Liked It Enough To Get Another
Good affordable and compact stand. I had one for a while and ended up buying a second one when building out a small and light speedlight off camera kit. These are not for big heavy modifiers but for lights on their own or with umbrellas or small soft boxes, they work great.
Surprisingly Well Built
I needed to replace stands that came in a 2-light kit that I received as a gift. They needed to fit in the kit's case or, in other words, be about 19 long when folded. These are not the sturdiest stands in the world, but they're more than adequate for the job. Those who describe them as flimsy have apparently never seen Amazon Basics light stands.
great product!
enjoy this flexible stand!!
Small but Heavy Duty
These suckers are great and super compact. Love them
perfect
Something that I have been looking for for such a long time and it’s design and quality is well-built.
light and stable enough
These RL-7 stands comprise a very compact kit are strong enough for the little Luxli lights - have 2 Violas and 2 Cello lights.
Good light stand
It packs down nice and small and is all metal. The reversible legs are nice and provide a wide, stabile base. The tightening knobs are very stiff but might loosen up with use.
Packable, sturdy, right height
Got these for a few weddings I had to travel for, and did not want to spend a lot. I thought they would feel cheap and flimsy, but they don't (this is compared to cheap amazon metal stands). I can even fit them in a carry on. They have a good height to use for a wedding reception (this is where I use them) and while maybe not as high as I like them, they were enough, a good trade off in order to pack so small. I did not let them rest flush in the floor, but raised them like 6 inches above the ground. They felt solid for my godox flashes (t685) magmods. Really happy I got them, specially being on the least expensive side (I almost got the Matthews version).
