Nanuk 945 Overview

The 50.2L, yellow 945 Hard Case from Nanuk is made from lightweight NK-7 resin. This crush, dust, and waterproof case protects your sensitive gear during transport and storage. It will accommodate a DSLR with attached lens, three additional lenses, and a flash.

The PowerClaw latching system uses compressive force to keep the case securely closed until you open it. Integrated slide locks prevent the case from opening during transport or if dropped. For additional security, the case accepts user-supplied padlocks.

The case features stainless steel hardware and can be carried using the foldable, soft-grip top handle. The handle structure is molded from NK-7 resin and covered with soft, shock-absorbing rubber for comfort when carrying heavy loads. Integrated stays in the handle keep it folded down to prevent damage during transport or shipping.

Automatic pressure release valve ensures the case remains easy to open, even after changes in air pressure
Waterproof custom-fit gasket is made from high-quality EPDM rubber to resist deformation and fatigue
NK-7 resin construction is UV-resistant to help protect against discoloration and material degradation
Integrated stay prevents the lid from closing while you pack or unpack your gear
Front grooves interlock with built-in feet at the base when stacking multiple cases of the same size

I bought this case as it is said that it fits the OSEE 21.5 LCM215-HDR+ Field Monitor with its foam. I can say it does it perfectly. I feel the top part is maybe not as sturdy as it is for some old cases I own but when you take care of your equipment as much as possible, it should be fine for several years again. At this range price, for the purpose of fitting this particular monitor and avoiding headaches, I really recommend it.

The Nanuk 945 Hard Case (Black, 50.2L), has an interior dimension of: 22 x 17 x 8.2" / 55.9 x 43.2 x 20.8 cm 2.1" / 5.3 cm (Lid Depth) 6.1" / 15.5 cm (Base Depth) A single Astra 1x1 has the following dimensions 17.7 x 16.3 x 5.3" / 45 x 41.4 x 13.4 cm (Fixture).  You would only be able to have 1 panel per case.
