With the T8120 Power over Ethernet Midspan from Axis Communications a standard network can be infused with up to 15.4 watts of power. Once this plug-and-play 802.3af compliant device is installed devices like IP cameras, VoIP equipment, and more can draw power directly from the network thus eliminating the need for multiple power supplies.

The Axis T8120 worked as expected. I have a 90 meter span for one of my network cameras, and the voltage on the load end was more than adequate to power a 12W IP camera. The LED indicates whether power is being applied, and the unit's software complies with the POE standard (it verifies that 25kohms is present on the far end before applying full voltage).

This includes the required cables you it can connected directly into a standard AC outlet.
