4Auray PFMU-12 Universal Wire Mesh Pop Filter with 12" Gooseneck (Matte Black)
The Blue Yeti USB Desktop Tracking Optimizer Kit from B&H provides you with all the tools to create excellent sounding Podcasts, voice-overs and vocal recordings.
The kit includes the Yeti USB mic, Blue's Pop filter and a reflection filter. The video below demonstrates how to integrate the Pop with the Yeti. Then just connect the USB cable, place the Voxguard behind the mic and voilà! You're ready to record.
Blue Yeti USB Microphone (Blackout)
A simple, yet powerfully effective tool for content creators, the Blue Microphones Yeti is a USB mic offering a broadcast-quality sound, a rugged design, and multiple recording modes to suit your needs. The Yeti, offfered here in a blackout finish, has become a go-to mic for people who record podcasts, and who stream on YouTube, Twitch, Facebook Live, and other similar platforms.
The multiple mic modes allow virtually any kind of content creator to do their thing with precision and ease. Use the cardioid setting to reject off-axis noise, minimizing room tone even when speaking directly into the mic. If you're recording with one other guest, select the Bidirectional polar pattern; now, you can speak into the front, while the guest speaks into the back, and the sides of the mic will reject unwanted room noise. Choose omnidirectional to pickup audio all around the capsule, which is great for work that features multiple voices. Finally, a stereo mode is wonderful for ASMR content or for recording music. A desktop stand and a USB cable are included.
Three Different Mounting Options
Fits Your Needs
This mic is perfect for recording directly to computers, be they mac or windows systems. With the right, separately available adapters, you can also record with Android and iOS devices.
All the Control You Need, Built Right In
Yeti features controls for headphone volume, pattern selection, instant mute and microphone gain—putting you in charge of every level of the recording process. If you're experiencing distortion or feedback while recording an especially loud source, simply adjust the microphone's sensitivity with the gain control. Or, if you want to take a break in the middle of a podcast, use the instant mute button. Also, the included stand allows for pivoting in a variety of angles for ideal placement, with the added functionality of folding the mic down for storage and transport.
3.5mm Headphone Jack with Latency-Free Monitoring
The mic has an integrated headphone amp with an independent gain control for latency-free monitoring. Simply plug your headphones into the mic's 3.5mm input, and you'll hear your broadcast-quality audio in all its glory.
Broadcast-Quality Digital Capture
The mic records audio at 16-bit / 48 kHz, giving you the broadcast standard for media playback. On the audio side, the tri-capsule design ensures that whatever mode you choose, the mic will pick up a clear and present sound.
Simple to Set Up
Just plug the Yeti into your computer's USB port with the included USB cable, select it as a device in your recording software, and you're ready to get to work. The Yeti runs off your device's power, so no need to plug it into a wall. With driver-free operation, you won't have to download pesky software to get it up and running.
Auray RF-5P-B Reflection Filter (Metal)
The RF-5P-B Reflection Filter from Auray is designed to improve the quality of voice recordings captured in your home studio, rehearsal studio or other untreated acoustic environment by absorbing and isolating the microphone from unwanted ambient reflections. By absorbing and diffusing these reflections, the RF-5P-B creates a closer and dryer sound that allows more control over the vocals. It can also be used for other applications such as recording an acoustic guitar or an electric guitar cabinet.
Five punched metal panels and a pyramidal, acoustic foam lining filter ambient noise and help prevent sound from reflecting back into the microphone. The two outermost panels are adjustable, allowing you to control how dry your
recording will be.
Whether it's a home studio or a rehearsal studio, for podcasting or broadcasting, the RF-5P-B Reflection Filter is designed to provide a portable solution for improved acoustic isolation.
Three Different Mounting Options
Threaded socket on the bottom can be mounted to a standard microphone stand, or the clamps on the back can be mounted to the shaft of a microphone stand with a boom arm. Also comes with non-slip feet for tabletop use
Auray PFMU-12 Universal Wire Mesh Pop Filter with 12" Gooseneck (Matte Black)
The matte black Auray PFMU-12 is a universal wire mesh pop filter offering sonically transparent control of plosives for podcasters, voiceover artists, narrators, and singers in home, project, and commercial recording studios. Its dual-layer wire mesh screen inhibits pops and distortion frequently caused by "p" and "b" sounds, yielding smoother vocal tracks that require less editing and processing in post-production. The screen also serves as a shield, preventing corrosion by keeping mouth-born moisture from collecting on your mic's capsule.
The PFMU-12's rectangular wraparound design imparts a pleasing visual aesthetic, and delivers consistent performance for various microphone styles and source-to-mic angles. The flexible 12" gooseneck ensures accurate placement and quick adjustment, even when swapping out microphones. Attachment and removal of the PFMU-12 is simple and fast via the durable metal C-clamp and convenient thumbscrew. A rubber grommet on the thumbscrew protects your mic stand's finish from scratches.
Three Different Mounting Options
Inhibits Problematic Plosives
In every recording of dialog or vocals, there are bound to be problematic plosives—"p" and "b" sounds that can cause distortion and distracting pops from bursts of air hitting the diaphragm of your microphone's capsule. This dual-layer wire mesh screen acts as a sonically transparent barrier, inhibiting the pops without compromising frequency response.
Effective Wraparound Design
Microphones come in a variety of shapes and styles, and the PFMU-12 is designed to accommodate all sorts. Its wraparound construction provides consistent protection for an array of capsule sizes, as well as reliable performance even if the performer shifts their position off-axis. Additionally, whereas traditional pop filters are round and glossy, the PFMU-12 brings an element of visual interest thanks to its rectangular shape and matte black finish.
Enhanced Voice Recording Quality
Whether you're podcasting, recording voiceovers, or tracking singers, effective control of plosives yields improvements in quality. By preventing plosives, the PFMU-12 allows the performer to get closer to the mic; the added detail and low-frequency presence resulting from this proximity are often beneficial for vocal tonality and impact.
Protects Capsule from Moisture
In addition to preventing plosives, the PFMU-12 shields your microphone's sensitive diaphragm against mouth-born moisture, which can cause corrosion and deteriorate sonic performance.
Simple Attachment & Removal
For efficient and stable positioning, the PFMU-12 features a thumbscrew fastener and a durable metal C-clamp with a maximum clamp width of 0.8 inches—wide enough to fit most mic stands or booms. A rubber grommet is utilized to protect your stand from scratches.

Auray PFMU-12 Universal Wire Mesh Pop Filter with 12" Gooseneck (Matte Black) Specs
There's not much reason to use a USB mic to an audio interface since the USB mic already has an A/D converter inside it, which is the primary role of the audio interface. You should be just fine plugging it into your computer. If you prefer the preamp sound of your evo, you should buy an analog mic instead. You'll probably end up getting more bang for your buck too

What's the recommended configuration of the mic? There's no shock mount included, and with the Yeti attached to the reflection filter, there isn't enough room for cables.
Asked by: Ben Z.
The Yeti shockmount (BLRADIUSIIBO) can be used on a mic stand. It allows room for the cable.
