The Solo Heavy Duty Background Support System from Manfrotto has a maximum width of 13' but can be expanded to 19.5' using an optional Lastolite Solo Background Support Extension. The system also includes two sturdy air-cushioned background stands and a carry case.

The Manfrotto Solo Heavy Duty Background Support System (13') has a Maximum height: 11.5' (3.5 m) This is how high the Manufacturer claims these stands are able to climb.

What model light stands come with this kit? Are they the Manfrotto 1005BAC stands?

Lastolite does not list the specific stands supplied in the kit. They do hot look like the Manfrotto 1005BAC. It looks like it is ones specific for the Lastolite Solo Heavy Duty Background Support System (13').

Can the horizontal pole handle a 55 pound paper roller? What's the capacity weight limit?

According to the manufacturer, the Manfrotto Solo Heavy Duty Background Support System (13') does not have a listed maximum load capacity. However, they did state that as the background support system can support a 13-foot vinyl background, it should also be able to support a 13-foot roll of seamless paper.
