There's over 2,000 music files on the pc in my office at home, which doubles as my music room, with another thousand records and cd's. What I wanted to do was get those computer files to my stereo components, to my 200-watt amp and my ancient KLH5 speakers. B&H had exactly the right cable for the job. It works perfectly and was longer and less expensive than the inferiror cable I was replacing. Plus, it was delivered free and five days sooner than expected.

Other than the gold-plated connectors, what's the difference between this cable and the Kopul brand cable of the same length? Do the gold-plated connectors make that much of a difference? Are they worth the extra eight dollars? Thanks.

The Kopul cables offer better quality Rean connectors, and the gold platting can help reduce noise issues in the signal.

is this cable for audio only? There is an A/V Out port on the back of my Roku 3100X (Roku 2 SX). Can it be used instead of HDMI (granted, at lower quality)?
