This should be snug enough to hold onto the capsule but still able to be removed.

what should the top of the me2 lavalier look like?how does the windscreen stay on?
It isn't a very tight metal to metal fit. You have to work to get them to come apart and they do a really good job of helping keeping a fuzzy wind sock from coming off as well. Good piece of equipment
